Has any other old school Ubisoft users ran into this? How in gods' name did you deal with it? I don't want lose 16years of history making a new account, nor should I. If they were going change policy there should have been some way to add it other than sending an email to my which is obviously impossible. How there was no recourse for those of us that just made a login from Xbox years back and used a Username at the time since that's how worked back then. It's not my fault they suddenly decided use email instead of username, but I'm locked out of account as though I did something wrong.

Maintain control over your data by setting cookies, you can change or withdraw your consent at any time. They should have left Username as option or if not, given a chance to add one with a mechanism that didn't include trying to send email link to a non-email username, that's just asinine. Ubisoft Account Welcome We use cookies and technological tools to analyse the traffic of this website, enhance your experience and offer you ads tailored to your interests.

Even tried it on my lunch break to see if was a timing thing. Then ANOTHER tech suddenly starts responding that I have to use chat and I'm back where started. Told them they could just use the XBox email too if want be sure. Since I CAN log in via my Xbox connection. One response asked for screenshots of my account page to verify and I did that. But Chat is NEVER Available! I got so desperate I tried twitter and almost got somewhere. So the only way to resolve this is Chat since there is no email. So basically they changed policy and screwed me out of access with no way to add email or change username to email. Only way to add email is to get a link to an email ( which has never existed ) to change it.

Now Ubisoft Connect won't work with username, has to be email. My account is 16 years old and was created when you used username instead of email as username, so no email exists or has ever existed.
